Research & Policy

We conduct Indigenous-led qualitative research to help organizations better understand complex issues, perspectives, and histories. Our work bridges academic rigor and practical application, ensuring findings are clear and usable.

Our goal is not only to generate research through meaningful engagement practices, but to provide insights that organizations can use to shape policy, strategy, and decision-making.

Our research equips governments (Indigenous, federal, and provincial), post-secondary institutions, industry partners, and Indigenous organizations with the knowledge to navigate complex Indigenous policy questions.

Facilitation & Training

We design and deliver tailored Indigenous education that is practical and grounded in lived, academic, and community experience.  We also develop Indigenous-focused curriculum, learning modules, and educational materials for institutions and organizations, whether for employee training or university-level courses.

Our training session blends traditional lecture-style teaching with interactive activities such as case studies, guided reflection, and short knowledge checks to create engaging learning experiences.

Training can be delivered virtually or in person.

All workshops can be adapted to specific audiences, sectors, and learning objectives.

  • "It was an absolute privilege to have Sarah facilitate the “Indigenous Awareness Workshop” for the settlement sector in Alberta. The depth of knowledge she brought from a historical context and intergenerational impacts to present-day realities and meaningful pathways toward reconciliation were both enlightening and grounding. What truly stood out was not just the information she shared, but the way she shared it. She created a space that felt safe, reflective, and engaging. She invited participants to examine their roles with honesty and responsibility, while ensuring the conversation remained compassionate and forward-focused."

  • "Her ability to connect lived experience, policy implications, and practical application for those working directly with newcomer communities was powerful. The session did not feel like a lecture; it felt like a dialogue; one that will continue to shape how the team approaches its work with greater cultural humility and awareness. She led with authenticity, wisdom, and generosity. The impact of her session will ripple far beyond that day. Huge gratitude for the session.”
